Charley Aldridge, DVM, MS, DACVIM
Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist, Owner
Dr. Aldridge obtained his veterinary degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), graduating with honors. He then completed a rotating internship at LSU (Geaux Tigers!), followed by a dual residency and masters program at Auburn University (War Eagle!). He has been board certified in internal medicine for over a decade and practicing in the Upstate area for the last six years. During his career he has developed a love of ultrasounds and working with the veterinarians and people of our community–both of which have driven him to start Sojourn Vet.
He and his wife, Dr. Mollie Mesman share four children, two dogs, two cats, and seven chickens. In his spare time you can find him enjoying everything this wonderful area has to offer and trying to make time for yoga, gardening, and that last unfinished project around the house.
Mollie Mesman, DVM, DACVD
Veterinary Dermatologist, Gem of a human
Dr. Mesman is the dermatology consultant for 850+ Mission Pet Health practices and also trains dermatology residents through Animal Dermatology Group. She lectures extensively across the country teaching primary veterinarians the art of veterinary dermatology. You’ll also occasionally find her assisting her husband, Dr. Aldridge, while secretly trying to examine his patient’s skin.
Dr. Mesman earned her DVM from Louisiana State University, completed a small animal rotating internship at Auburn University, and a dermatology residency with the Animal Dermatology Clinic in Marina del Rey, California. Her professional interests include allergies and treatment with immunotherapy, immune-mediated conditions, ear disease, and the many uses of topical therapy. Outside of work, Dr. Mesman stays active and busy with their four children. She loves all things Boston Terrier, her backyard chickens, traveling, and cooking. Her current passion is training for a triathlon.

“From the time I can remember, I’ve been drawn to animals. I went from sharing my meals with stray dogs growing up in India and sneaking critters I found into my dorm room, to working in wildlife rehabilitation, to rescue work and establishing nearly a 22-year career in the veterinary field. I have spent the last 15 years in Specialty Veterinary medicine focusing on Emergency and Internal Medicine, Sonography, Ophthalmology, Dentistry and community outreach. During my journey, I found a true passion caring for the voiceless and being a patient advocate. I’ve been able to draw from my education in animal behavior and learning, and apply this in the field, especially working with mistreated animals. I consider it a privilege to be entrusted with someone’s extended family members and rewarding to provide the personal care they deserve.”

It’s a privilege to welcome Lindsey to our team. With her passion for quality medicine and love of feisty felines, Lindsey brings us 16 years of experience and dedication to animal care. She spent the majority of her career working in emergency medicine, bringing a calm and capable presence to high-stress situations. When she’s not helping your furry family member, you will find her spending time with her son, enjoying good tunes, perfecting her disc golf skills, gardening and exploring fly fishing locations.
